Serve as a greeter at St. Francis House or the Irish International Immigrant Center in Boston. Play with developmentally delayed children at Dorchester’s Bay Cove Early Intervention Program. Do community organizing work around immigration or racism issues in Boston. Co-coordinate a retreat program for homeless women. These and many other opportunities are now available through Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) New England. This yearlong volunteer opportunity involves two full days/week in the Boston, Worcester or Providence areas to address problems of homelessness, education, immigration and more.
