The Massachusetts Service Alliance and researchers at Boston College invite nonprofit organizations to participate in the Massachusetts Volunteer Sector Survey. The purpose of the survey is to 1) better understand the needs of the Massachusetts volunteer sector and 2) measure the value that volunteers, service members and interns bring to organizations across the state. The person(s) completing the survey should have knowledge of basic organization data and volunteer management practices. It is designed to be anonymous and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Only one survey per organization should be submitted, but every organization should participate.
Participating organizations will be included in a drawing for a free admission to the 2019 Conference on Volunteerism (May 7, see article below), calculate the overall net benefit of your volunteers compared to other nonprofits, and receive a report of the findings. If you know organizations that should participate, please spread the word.
